  2. StitchView for Windows 1.5 Demo
  3. ---------------------------------------------------------------------

  5. StitchView 1.5 displays and prints Pfaff PC-Designer stitch files
  6. including the new PCD-Win format files.
  7.  
  8. This working demo includes all features of StitchView except
  9. printing and import/export of designs.
  10.  
  11. ---------------------------------------------------------------------
  12. Installing the StitchView for Windows Demo:
  13.  
  14.   1) Go to the DOS prompt. (If you are running Windows,
  15.      either exit Windows or double-click the MSDOS icon
  16.      in the Main Program Manager group.)
  17.  
  18.   2) Create a temporary directory for the installation files:
  19.  
  20.          MD \SVTEMP
  21.  
  22.   3) Copy SVDEMO15.EXE to the temporary directory:
  23.  
  24.          COPY SVDEMO15.EXE \SVTEMP
  25.  
  26.   4) Execute SVDEMO15.EXE to "unpack" the installation files:
  27.  
  28.          CD \SVTEMP
  29.          SVDEMO15
  30.  
  31.   5) Read (or print) STITCHVW.DOC:
  32.  
  33.          EDIT STITCHVW.DOC                   (read)
  34.          PRINT STITCHVW.DOC                  (print)
  35.  
  36.   6) Run (or return to) Windows:
  37.  
  38.          EXIT
  39.          WIN
  40.  
  41.   7) Select "Run" from Program Manager's "File" Menu.  In the
  42.      Command Line box, enter:
  43.  
  44.          \SVTEMP\SETUP.EXE
  45.  
  46.      and press Enter or click the OK button.
  47.  
  48.   8) To clean-up the temporary directory.  Select "Run" from
  49.      Program Manager's "File" Menu.  In the Command Line box,
  50.      enter:

  52.         DELTREE \SVTEMP
  53.  
  54.      and press Enter or click the OK button.
